Let’s North Texas Tornado Victims
How can we respond in times of disaster and crisis? PRAY, GIVE, GO.
Did you know your own state Baptist convention has an incredible mission organization that provides “hands-on” assistance to disaster victims across this region, state, nation and world?
We are asking you to consider joining a local Texans on Mission (TXM) “hands-on” group. It is a chainsaw team. TXM local coordinator (Greg Rose) provides all of the training, safety gear, and equipment, as well as infrastructure such as housing, showers, laundry, and meals for volunteers who go out to serve those in hard-hit areas around Texas and beyond as needed. The current local team is comprised of men and women from several area Baptist churches. We would love to have some Lakeside members on board too!
