Good Friday Tenebrae

Join us for a special Good Friday Tenebrae service on Friday, April 18 at 6pm. This somber, reflective service is a time for you and your family to focus on the gift of the cross and the sacrifice of the Son of God. With reverent hymns, communion, and scripture reading, this night is sure to be an impactful time for reflection and remembrance of the gift of the cross.

Resurrection Sunday Services

Celebrate the resurrection with the Lakeside family! Inspirational worship, an encouraging message of the hope of the resurrection, and activities for the whole family, Easter at Lakeside is for everyone! There will be no LIFEgroups, but kids’ church will be available during the 9:30 and 11am services.

What to Expect

Easter Sunday services as slightly altered from our normal service times. We are offering 3 identical services on Easter Sunday morning:

8am

9:30am

11am

We will also offer a Good Friday Tenebrae service on Friday, April 18. This service is completely different from the Sunday morning service, intended to prepare our hearts for the celebration of the resurrection by reflecting on the sacrifice of the cross. This is a somber, reverent service for the whole family.

We recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the service you choose to give you plenty of time to park and make it to the sanctuary.

Our campus provides parking all around the building with the main parking lot feeding into the front entrance. Anywhere you park on the campus, there will be volunteers available to direct you where you need to go. For some of the farther parking spots, we offer a team on golf carts ready to drive you to the front entrance.

Our services feature songs from the most familiar songs of the church as well as new songs of praise that focus our attention on Christ. The worship choir, praise team, and a full band will lead us to the throne — always followed by a biblically-rooted sermon that will challenge us to grow as disciples.

Lakeside Kids is a dynamic, fun learning environment for your little ones! We offer music, Bible study, fellowship, and fun!

Sunday Morning

9:30 am // Preschool and Children’s (1st – 5th Grade) Sunday School

11 am // Preschool Sunday School and Kids Worship (Kinder – 5th Grade) in DMZ

On a typical Sunday morning, Lakeside Yth meets for LIFEgroups during the second service. However, on Easter Sunday, all students are invited to join their families for one of our 3 services (8am, 9:30am, or 11am), as we will not have LIFEgroups that morning.

Dress for Sunday morning worship ranges from casual to Sunday best and everything in between. In other words, we adopt a come-as-you-are dress.
