A Path to Emulate
Dear Church Family,
It has been my privilege to serve alongside three special people over the last several years who happen to be retiring.
Linda Lemmons has been my assistant since my first day as the senior pastor at Lakeside. She has also served in our deacon ministry and many other areas as well. She is a faithful Life Group teacher and Grief Share facilitator. I’m so grateful for her wisdom and passion for service. She has been with Lakeside for 18 years!
Karen Fletcher has been our Human Resources director for nine years and has helped our staff in so many ways that I cannot count. She has helped create a healthy and happy workplace for all of our employees.
Sharon Johnson, our food service manager, has been our longest tenured staff member, serving Lakeside for 29 years! She has catered so many of our gatherings, directed weddings, and always created an inviting environment for us to grow in Christ.
I count all three of these sisters in Christ as friends whom I dearly love. Each of them has been a beautiful picture of service to the LORD. None of us likes change, but I feel confident that these three have given us a path to emulate as we press on!
